The Nachmund Gauntlet is more than a battlefield—it’s the last vital artery through the Great Rift, connecting Imperium Nihilus to salvation. Control of this crucible means dominance over the sector’s military flow—and your alliances are about to decide its fate.

What is the Crusade?
This Crusade isn’t just about victories—it’s about telling your army’s story in the heart of a full-scale war. You’ll fight alongside one of three alliances, shape the fate of the Nachmund Gauntlet, and grow your force across an evolving, 6 months-long campaign.

  • Wave-Based Warfare: Bring a 1,300-point army, but only 1,000 points will hit the battlefield. Divide your force into a primary wave and three optional waves—one of which won’t be used each game. Plan your strategy carefully.
  • Alliance-Driven Narrative: Join one of three alliances and shape the outcome of the campaign together. Every mission impacts the larger war for the Nachmund Gauntlet.
  • Character Growth: Watch your warlord and key units earn experience, gain upgrades, and acquire unique traits and battle scars across multiple battles.
  • Strategic Objectives: Use Agendas to define your army’s goals in each game. Completing them earns experience and adds depth to your Crusade force.
  • Narrative Driven: Play more for fun than victory! It’s all about the story—the evolving tale of your army and its place in a larger galactic conflict.

Initial Meeting

Sunday, August 3rd, at 2 PM. Meet other players, declare your faction, and get ready to start your Crusade!

Monthly Games

You’ll have 2 games each month to play at your convenience. Then, report the results and share your battle tales on our Discord community.

Progression

Each two months, your army’s points increase to give you more freedom to expand and develop your force.

Battle Honors & Traits

We’ll roll for Battle Honors and Traits at random to keep things unpredictable and exciting!

Ready to Join the Fight?
To participate, you’ll need a 1,300-point army (Games Workshop miniatures only) at the first meeting and a commitment to play 2 games per month for the duration of the Crusade.

  • One-Time Registration: Sign up once and commit to playing for all 6 months of the Crusade.
  • Army Progression:
    • Months 1–2: 1.3k roster / 1k games
    • Months 3–4: 1.8k–1.95k roster / 1.5k games
    • Months 5–6: 2.45k–2.55k roster / 2k games
  • No Paint Requirement: Bring your army as-is—painting is optional.

Games are played at standard point levels (1k, 1.5k, 2k), but your roster should be larger to allow for wave selection. Be prepared to bring extra units each phase so you have options!

Monthly Meetups: We’ll host a Crusade meeting on the first Sunday of every month to announce matchups, discuss campaign progress, and give players a chance to ask questions or share their battle stories.
